BioI'm currently a doctoral candidate of Critical Studies at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, starting work on my dissertation engaging with Harry Potter fandom and new media narratives. I consider this my "acafan" lj, so I'll be posting musings on contemporary fandom, analysis of texts I'm currently fixated on, and links to anything I might find interesting. Ideally, I'd like this to be a space for fans and academics (and those, like myself, who identify as both) to exchange ideas and chat.
